Tiedke is originally from Germany, where he studied photography before moving to Cardiff to deepen his artistic exploration. In both locations, he finds inspiration in the ordinary, transforming everyday moments into visual narratives. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi, he captures life’s fleeting moments, inviting viewers to embrace the beauty found in imperfection and impermanence. Tiedke was recently welcomed as a member of PixelProjekt Ruhrgebiet, a collaborative platform that celebrates the cultural heritage and diversity of the Ruhr region in Germany through photography. Through his work, he seeks to inspire, provoke thought, and foster meaningful connections.
